Lyla Davis is a pen name used by Stephenie Poeschel, a writer, educator, and speaker from a small town in Wisconsin. Under her pen of Lyla Davis, she writes romance novels, reference books for writers, and journals for women who have "no time to journal."
Lyla Davis is a self-published author, and published her first book, Trusting Her Heart, in 2023. This was the first book in her new series, The Strong Women Series (outlined below). Lyla wanted to write a series of books that would allow her to use her life experiences and her journey with trauma and healing to help women everywhere to feel a little less alone in their struggles, and to give them hope for a brighter future.
Lyla Davis lives in a small town in Wisconsin with her husband and 3 young children. She also has one adult son that lives in a close by town. Lyla loves spending time with her family, writing, reading, singing, playing piano, and camping & hunting in the outdoors. She loves to go fishing with her husband and children as well. In addition to writing, Lyla teaches piano and voice lessons in her small town. She also has an assistance dog, Deja.
